Maria Valencia, MSW

Maria Valencia went into behavioral health care because she wanted to serve her community and saw there was a need. She understands there is a stigma associated with mental health care within the Hispanic community and wants people to understand it is just as important as physical care. She likes helping adults who have experienced trauma, anxiety, and depression. Maria finds her job rewarding, especially when she starts seeing change in her patients.
