Foster Care Information Event, Yakima, November 10

Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic Behavioral Health Services (BHS) is hosting a gathering for people interested in becoming foster parents.
BHS Foster families receive a whole team of support, including case managers, case aides, skills trainers and youth mentors. Foster parents receive monthly reimbursement to offset the expenses of another household member, in addition to training and case management. Foster kids also may receive support through counseling, pro-social activities, family visits, independent living skills, and educational support. Families receive respite care two days a month, free training, and on-call support 24/7.
