Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic has lost a legend with the passing of Lazaro B. Sanchez. Larry was an integral part of our operation as a long-standing board member and a force for good in our communities across the Valley.
Larry was a farmworker himself, and he devoted his life to helping farmworkers continue their education and further their careers. Cofounder of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, he was an influential person in the region who was loved by many for his terrific humor and big heart. Above all else, he wanted to help others.
Thank you for all the good you brought to into our lives Larry. We will miss you always.
