English as a Second Language
English as a Second Language (ESL)

Speak, write, and read in English.

English as a Second Language classes (ESL) help people who are not native speakers learn the English language.

English as a Second Language (ESL)

It’s tough to work at a job or even get your groceries if you can’t communicate effectively. That’s why we offer English as a Second Language classes (ESL) through Safe Haven Community Center. Our courses cover grammar, pronunciation, spelling, and vocabulary. They also help you improve your skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening to English.

Some courses teach specific uses of English. For example, you could learn particular ways to speak English in fields like business or tourism. You might also learn about the culture and society of English-speaking countries. English as a Second Language (ESL) can help anyone who did not grow up speaking English.
