Pediatric Dentistry

Dental care just for your child.

Pediatric Dentistry is all about the dental health of your children, beginning at birth and continuing through their teenage years.

Our approach to Pediatric Dentistry

Children are not just small adults, and they are not always able to be patient and cooperative during a dental exam.  With our team’s training in caring for kids, we’re good at helping them through their visit to the dentist.  If your child is shy or chatty, we know how to work with every kind of personality. Our team will show your child each instrument they use and explain what it does, so there are not any surprises. We make dental visits both fun and educational.

Children begin to get their first baby teeth when they are about six months old, so we want to see your child soon after their first tooth appears or before their first birthday.  The first visit does a lot more than look for cavities. Early visits allow us to build a strong, trusting relationship with you and your child. It also allows us to discuss the development of the mouth and timelines for tooth eruption, along with proper home care and diet to prevent cavities.
