Find a career you enjoy.

The WorkFirst program gives you employment skills and helps you find good jobs.

Our approach to WorkFirst

Getting a job can be a job on its own. If you need work experience, life skills training, help finding a job, or planning your career, WorkFirst might be your answer. The program aims to give people the skills they need to get good jobs and succeed in them. We can help anyone who gets Temporary Assistance for Needy Families after a referral from the state.

WorkFirst can help you get work experience that can help you find other jobs later, help you explore careers and plan what you’d like to do, and give advice on how to find a job and provide for your family. To learn more about a WorkFirst, please visit Northwest Community Action Center →
