Family Medicine Residency

Sub-Internship Application

Explore Family Medicine Where It Matters Most

Apply for Our Two-Week Audition Rotation

Are you a fourth-year medical student passionate about making a meaningful impact in rural communities? Our two-week audition rotation offers a hands-on experience in family medicine, centered around serving underserved populations, including migrant farmworkers and Spanish-speaking patients in a setting where your compassion and clinical skills truly matter.

You’ll work alongside a team that values mentorship, cultural humility, and community connection. From clinic visits to outreach efforts, you’ll gain insight into the challenges and rewards of rural medicine while building relationships that reflect the heart of family practice.

This rotation is more than an audition—it’s an invitation to explore whether our mission aligns with yours.

We’re excited to meet students who are:

  • Committed to health equity and social justice
  • Interested in rural medicine and underserved care
  • Eager to grow in cross-cultural communication
  • Looking for a program that feels like a community
