New Kennewick Health Center Treats Nearly 70 Patients First Day

KENNEWICK –  Miramar Health Center, Kennewick opened its doors May 10, 2021 to Kennewick families needing primary care services.  At opening, the clinic saw nearly 70 patients with four providers, Dillon Burton, PA-C, Dr. Keith Goodman, Hiep Nguyen, PA-C, and Vannina Gwilliam, PA-C.

Meet the providers.

Hiep Nguyen, PA-C joins the team at Miramar Health Center, Kennewick. He earned his Master of Clinical Health Services degree and Physician Assistant certification from MEDEX Northwest, at the University of Washington, in Seattle, Washington. Seeing firsthand the hardships of a single mom emigrating to the U.S. shaped how Hiep Nguyen views the world. He’s always been passionate about helping people overcome hard times, poverty, and sickness and now he’s eager to do that in the exam room. Hiep is looking forward to helping patients improve their health one appointment at a time.

Dillon Burton, PA-C earned his master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Barry University in Miami, Florida. He is fluent in Spanish and wanted to make a difference in his community. Dillon enjoys the outdoors, biking, camping, Mexican food, and playing with his dogs.

Keith Goodman, DO earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas, and completed his residency at Sollus Northwest Family Medicine Residency Program, Grandview, WA Dr. Goodman believes that knowing who his patients are, where they come from, and their stories will make him a better doctor.  He’s also proud to be following in his grandfather’s footsteps as he begins his career in community health care.  Dr. Goodman is passionate about the benefits of Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy, a hands-on technique used to diagnose, treat, and prevent illness or injury, and he’s excited to meet his new patients at Miramar Health Center.  

Vannina Gwilliam, PA-C earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Utah School of Medicine, Salt Lake City, Utah. Vannina is originally from Argentina and loves helping others who’ve come to the United States navigate our health care systems. Beginning her career as a coordinator for Pediatric Oncology and management in Language Services, she now enjoys helping her own patients find culturally appropriate solutions to their health care problems. Vannina is committed to her patient’s whole well-being and looks forward to working in the Tri-Cities.
