Mirasol Family Health Center Names New Clinic Manager
HERMISTON – Irma Solis was named Clinic Manager at Mirasol Family Medical Center in Hermiston and began her role earlier this month.
A Hermiston High School graduate, Solis has been a part of the community for nearly two decades.
Solis has always had a love of health care and a desire to help those that need it.
“At first, I wanted to become a pediatrician, but after getting my first degree, I decided I wanted to effect change in an administrative role,” she said.
Mirasol Family Health Center is part of the Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic network of care. Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic has long been known to provide whole-person care to those who are underserved, regardless of their ability to pay, citizenship, or socioeconomic status.
“My personal mission fits perfectly with the mission at Mirasol Family Health Center,” she said. “I have a deep desire to see my community whole, healthy, and happy.”
Solis lives in Hermiston with husband of 11 years and their three children. In her free time she loves reading to her children before bed, running, baking, and crochet.
