Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic is pleased to name Angelina Thomas Senior Director of Regional Operations for Toppenish Medical-Dental Clinic, Mid-Valley Family Medicine in Wapato, and Immediate Care in Granger.

Thomas started with Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic in the Sollus Northwest Administrative Fellowship program in 2015. After her fellowship, she has worked with Behavioral Health Services in an operations role. Thomas earned a Master of Health Administration from Pennsylvania State University and has a passion for working in the community health care setting.

“I decided to get into community health because I have a firm belief that access to quality health care can have such a big impact on not only an individual, but the community at large,” she said. “I wanted to work with a healthcare organization that treated and supported every person who walked through our door with the utmost respect and dignity. That is what brought me to Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic.”

Thomas says she’s looking forward to connecting with the Toppenish, Wapato, and Granger communities and learning more about the history of Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic in its flagship location in Toppenish.

In her free time, Thomas enjoys hiking, traveling, civic engagement, and supporting other organizations working on strengthening communities.
