Health Fairs Deliver Preventative Care & Resources Across the Pacific Northwest

This year, Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic is hosting 10 free Health Fairs at clinic locations throughout our region. These family-friendly events provide a great opportunity to learn more about the services we provide and how we support our community’s health year-round. They are designed to connect our communities with health services, helpful resources, and local organizations, all in one convenient place. 

Each Health Fair offers a variety of services, which may vary by location, but often include immunizations, dental screenings, well-child checks, health and nutrition information, and $10 sports physicals. Attendees can also enjoy free food, refreshments, activities for children, and raffles for great prizes. 

“Our health fairs are a way to reach out to our communities and connect people with the care and resources they need,” said Guadalupe Sanchez, Events and Community Relations Coordinator. “Families can come to one event and access multiple services instead of having to travel to several different locations.” 

Every event includes: 

• Free food and drinks 

• Children’s activities 

• Free raffles with exciting prizes 

• Access to health services and community partners
