2025 Year In Review

206,315

The final numbers have been submitted to the Health Resources Services Administration, and we were able to deliver care to 206,315 people across our network of care.
42% of our patients were children, 54% were living on an annual income of less than $16,000 per person, and 12% of our patients were homeless.

But the numbers don’t tell the full story of 2025:

  • The Parents as Teachers program, an evidence-based parent education program, received the Blue-Ribbon Affiliation.
  • We congratulated another class of resident and fellowship graduates across eight programs, many of whom now work at Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic.
  • The Sollus Northwest Family Medicine Residency program celebrated its 10th year.
  • CEO Christy Trotter received the David B. Viet Changemaker Award from the Advocates for Community Health.
  • We celebrated the accomplishments of three retirees: Mary Hudak, Pharmacy Associate Clinical Director; Glen Davis, Chief Operations Officer; and Dr. Tamera Schille, who joined Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic in 1999.
  • Lincoln Ave. Medical-Dental Center was named a Foster Care Center of Excellence by Coordinated Care, recognizing our dedication to delivering expert, trauma-informed care to children, youth, and families.
  • RetinaVue technology expanded to 20 clinic locations, helping prevent diabetic vision loss through early detection.
  • We mourned the passing of Don Gargas, a lifelong physician and co-founder of Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic.
  • We broke ground on a dental clinic in partnership with Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences. This new location will provide hands-on experience for their dental students, who will become our communities’ future dentists.
  • We rolled out a new Women’s Mobile Unit equipped with state-of-the-art mammography technology.

We look forward to publishing our 2025 Report to Our Communities next month. Stay tuned!
