Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic believes the health of one person is the health of humanity. Our priority is providing primary care to the Washington and Oregon communities we serve. Services are based on a patient-centered medical home model. During placement, you will interact with dedicated providers and staff serving an economically and culturally diverse population of adults and children. Some placements with Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic sites may require bilingual skills.

Pre-professional observations and shadows
Pre-professional shadowing is limited to 24 hours in total per year per candidate. All post-high school applicants requesting shadowing placement with YVFWC must meet certain requirements prior to the start of the placement. High school shadowing
Shadowing for high school juniors and seniors is limited to 4 hours total unless by special arrangement. ConneX Youth Health Care Career Program
ConneX assists educationally and/or economically disadvantaged students who have an interest in the health profession. More than 450 students have participated in the middle school, high school, and college programs. For more information, visit the ConneX program page.
Job training placements
Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic partners with Northwest Community Action Center (NCAC), People for People, Blue Mountain Community Action Council, OIC/WA, and other community programs to provide training opportunities.
